About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department experience required. License: Must have a valid nursing license. Certifications: BCLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS required. Must-Have: - Minimum of 1 year of travel experience. - EPIC experience required. - Oncology experience preferred but not required. Description: The role is within a specialized unit in the Emergency Department. This unit is dedicated to addressing the urgent and complex needs of oncology patients. It operates in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. Travelers must be proficient in IV starts and have experience with telemetry monitoring. The patient ratio is 1:4. Experience requirements must be met within the last three years. At least 1 year of current specialty experience is required. The unit supports various interdisciplinary services including Respiratory Services and Pharmacy. Candidates must provide two professional references. References should be from managerial or supervisory positions. Coworker references will not be accepted. Candidates must have experience in managing a range of patient demographics. Successful candidates will meet additional compliance and credentialing requirements. Compliance deadlines must be adhered to strictly. Candidates should be prepared for fingerprinting processes as instructed. Continuous communication and cooperation during credentialing are essential. All candidates must familiarize themselves with unit requirements prior to starting.
