Welder PositionWastequip has an immediate opportunity for a Welder to support our Salisbury, NC manufacturing operation. The ideal candidate will be a MIG Welder with prior experience in a manufacturing environment.Starting Rate: $24.29 plus full-time benefitsExpertise in MIG welding techniques, focusing on the assembly of components, parts, and structures. A strong ability to interpret technical drawings and adhere to work orders is essential. This role demands precision and a dedication to delivering exceptional craftsmanship.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Positions parts in jigs or fixtures on bench or floor, or clamps parts together along layout marksLays out, positions, and tack welds work piecesWelds along vertical, horizontal, and overhead weld linesConnects regulator valves to oxygen and fuel gas cylinders for cutting torch. Turns regulator valves to activate flow of gases, lights torch, and adjusts gas mixture and pressure to obtain desired flame.
