Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)Wellspring is a statewide nonprofit dedicated to serving seniors, families and children throughout Michigan. We are currently seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Frankenmuth Skilled Nursing and Rehab team. In this position, you will provide direct care and support to residents in Saginaw County.ResponsibilitiesProvide direct resident care including assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, feeding, toileting, incontinent care, colostomy care, ambulation, transfers and range-of-motion exercisesFollow individualized care plans and report observations, changes in condition and resident preferences to nursing staffMaintain resident dignity, privacy and comfort while fostering a warm, Christ-centered environmentSupport residents' rights and promptly report concerns related to abuse, neglect or restraint useProtect resident belongings and assist with locating missing itemsPromote skin integrity through repositioning, pressure ulcer prevention and proper skin careRespond promptly and courteously to call lights and resident needsAssist with clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, weights, applying topical treatments and collecting specimensAccurately complete CNA documentation in accordance with policyFollow safety and infection control procedures including proper hand hygiene and use of personal protective equipmentWelcome and orient new residents and families during admissions and transfersQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentCurrent Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the State of Michigan requiredSix months of CNA experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting preferredStrong communication skills and commitment to compassionate resident-centered careSchedule and CompensationEmployment Type: Full-time or Part-timeSchedule: Day Shift (6:00 am – 6:15 pm) or Night Shift (6:00 pm – 6:15 am)Weekends: Every other weekend rotation requiredPay Rate: $20.40 – $22.90 per hour, based on licensure experienceSign-on Bonus: $1,500 sign-on bonus available for Full-time**Shift Differentials: $0.50 per hour for Night ShiftBenefitsHealth, dental and vision insurance*Paid time off and paid holidays*403(b) retirement plan with employer match*DailyPay – access your earned wages anytimeSupportLinc employee assistance programClinical supervision and support as neededMeaningful connections with residents and team membersLocationWellspring Lutheran Services – Frankenmuth Skilled Nursing & Rehab 725 W Genesee St Frankenmuth, MI 48734Join Wellspring to use your skills and compassion to make a difference in the lives of seniors in Frankenmuth.
