Contract | Mids (4x10 Evening Shifts) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients during a designated shift, prescribing nursing care consistent with the medical plan of care
• Collaborates with physicians and other members of the healthcare team to coordinate delivery of patient care across all age groups
• Incorporates patient and family teaching as well as discharge planning into the overall plan of care
• Delegates aspects of patient care delivery to other nursing staff based on clinical competence and legal scope of practice
• Applies the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care in the PACU setting

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor
• PALS certification required within 1 year of hire
• Demonstrated competency in IV Sedation within 6 months of hire
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Prior acute care facility experience
