Personal Care Aide | PCA | Immediate Hire

Wage: $18.00/Hour

Work Location: Home Based Care – Reno | All Shifts Available

A minimum of 6 months care-giving experience with geriatrics

As a Home Care Aide/Personal Care Aide, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:

Provide personal care and support services to seniors living in an independent/assisted living facility.
Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation and companionship.
Help with ambulation and transferring.
Provide medication reminders, document their condition and notify a supervisor of any concerns.
Ensure a safe environment with unobstructed pathways.
Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies.

A few must-haves for Home Care Aides/Personal Care Aides:

High school diploma (or equivalent)
Six (6) months of experience in a healthcare role
Clear Background Check & Drug Screen
Valid NV driver license, auto insurance and transportation
Compassionate and helping nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
