Chief Financial Officer (CFO) About the Company Respected manufacturing company Industry Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to take on a pivotal, hands-on role in leading the financial strategy and operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for owning the financial strategy, KPIs, and 5-year planning, as well as leading FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and pricing/bid analysis. This role also involves managing cash flow, banking relationships, and capital structure, overseeing financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with DCAA/DCMA. The CFO will be expected to drive system improvements, particularly with NetSuite and Power BI, and lead a global finance team. A key aspect of the position is to support M&A activity and be prepared for a potential transaction in the near future. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a background as a Controller, VP, or SVP of Finance, with a preference for those with CFO experience. A strong background in manufacturing, particularly in government or defense, and experience in small to mid-sized companies is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong P&L ownership, board-level exposure, and a CPA qualification. The role demands a high-energy, hands-on individual with a player/coach mentality, who is execution-driven and has a strong work ethic. The CFO will be expected to be proactive, ready to roll up their sleeves, and to work in close partnership with the CEO.
