About the Position

Job Title: Echo Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cardiac Sonographer Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 2 years preferred License: Valid Kansas or Compact RN license required Certifications: BLS, ARDMS or ARRT or CCI required in hand Must-Have: 2 years of experience preferred 1st time travelers are welcome Experience in Adult Acute Care and Outpatient settings Description: The Echo Tech will be responsible for performing echocardiograms on adult patients. Candidates should have experience with various echocardiographic techniques, including 3-D Echo and Transesophageal Echocardiograms. Skills in performing Bubble Studies and Pharmacologic Stress Echo are essential. Candidates should be familiar with charting systems, specifically Epic. The daily caseload will range from 7 to 10 patients. The facility includes both inpatient and outpatient echo scans, as well as special procedures. Travelers may be expected to float to similar units as needed. Brief orientation will be provided upon arrival. Travelers should be prepared to complete onsite modules which are non-billable. Only those with valid licenses and certifications will be considered.
