Our employee’s tenure says it all! Position Summary The Customer Service Associate serves as the frontline and first point of contact for external customers. UPC prides themselves on excellent customer service. It is critical that this role always conducts friendly, professional, and prompt communication both with external customers and internal staff. This role serves customers daily by providing product, order, shipping, and service information. The Customer Service Associate should build relationships with customers to encourage new and repeat business opportunities. Position requires thorough knowledge of UPC products within the first few months of employment. Customer Service Associates handle all administrative duties that facilitate the order entry process. Facility Equipment & Work Environment Office Environment Skilled in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Adobe, Etc Multi-line phone system Copy Machine ERP experience helpful Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service or related role. Extremely detail oriented, excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must. Ability to handle a fast-paced, dynamic work environment, stressful situations, and deadline pressures as well as plan and carry out responsibilities with minimal direction. Excellent computer skills and proficiency operating Microsoft Suite, with an emphasis on Excel, Office and Word. Must have a strong aptitude working in an ERP, such as Odoo, or other related systems. Must have the ability to learn and master UPC’s internal order entry system.
