Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/14/2026 Duration: 16 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse - Emergency Services (ED) Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, varying schedules. Job Description The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Services department will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The RN will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing care plans, and coordinating with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care. Provide education and support to patients and families. Document patient care and progress accurately and timely. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Emergency Services. Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required. Active RN License. Holiday Expectations MUST work 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve) during the assignment.
