Steelhead Bar & Grille is currently hiring full and part‑time server positions. Steelhead Bar & Grille offers casual dining with a Northwest flair, located in downtown Spokane and serving both locals and tourists. Our customers come from all walks of life and all over the world. We look for staff who are motivated to deliver the best dining experience, with a professional, fun, and customer‑focused attitude and unique personal flair. We also strive to promote local businesses and bring locally sourced, Northwest‑inspired flavors to the table. Pay & Tips Base pay: $17.13 per hour Tips Responsibilities / Duties Follow all policies and procedures Arrive on time and attend all meetings Take orders and payments from customers for food and beverages following all steps of service guidelines Upsell by proactively suggesting specials, promotional items and/or events Deliver and announce food and drinks to guests with efficiency, accuracy, and enthusiasm Accommodate and fulfill any special requests for guests Communicate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure orders are delivered timely and according to Steelhead Bar & Grille standards Correct any issues courteously and quickly Check with customers throughout their meal to ensure they are enjoying their visit and take action to correct any problems Maintain a working knowledge of all menu items, promotions, ingredients and prep time Assist team members with any additional tasks as needed Complete all assigned opening, running, closing duties and side work Follow all health and alcohol beverage service standards and maintain a clean workspace Adhere to food safety, sanitation and safety guidelines Skills / Experience Washington State Food Worker Card (WSFWC) Washington State MAST/Class 12 or 13 One (1) year previous restaurant service experience preferred Willing to work a flexible schedule and weekends Ability to effectively listen to and respond to customer needs Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail Ability to multitask efficiently Team player with a courteous, friendly, and professional demeanor Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time Ability to lift 50+ pounds Health, Dental and Vision Insurance (for eligible full‑time employees) Paid Personal Time Off (PTO) instead of paid sick leave Earn 1 hour PTO for every 40 hours worked Direct Deposit Discounted employee meals Friends & Family Meal Discounts Leadership opportunities & career growth Steelhead Bar & Grille embraces diversity and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy and gender identity), national origin, political affiliation, sexual orientation, marital status, disability, genetic information, age, membership in an employee organization, retaliation, parental status, military service or other non‑merit factor. #J-18808-Ljbffr Steelheadbarandgrille
