Registered Nurse - Operating Room

$2448.00/week - Job Summary: The OR RN will provide perioperative nursing care in a surgical setting, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes across diverse specialties. The role involves circulating and PACU experience, with flexibility for rotating call and weekend shifts. Responsibilities: Administer patient care during surgical procedures, maintaining sterile techniques and patient safety standards. Serve as circulating nurse, coordinating surgical activities and advocating for patient needs. Monitor patient status in PACU, ensuring smooth recovery and appropriate post-operative care. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare team members for effective case management. Manage documentation and ensure compliance with licensing, certification, and facility protocols. Respond to urgent patient needs during scheduled calls and weekends, providing standby support as required. Qualifications: Hold active New Hampshire RN license and current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from AHA. Demonstrate circulating and PACU nursing experience, specifically in general surgery, G I, OBGYN, orthopedics, ENT, urology, cataracts, or podiatry. Possess at least one year of operating room experience with valid references. Exhibit proficiency in perioperative nursing skills and adherence to safety guidelines. Previous travel nursing experience preferred. Ability to work flexible shifts, including rotating call, weekends, and evenings.
