HR Clerk/I-9 Specialist (Temporary) (Pending)

HR Clerk/I-9 Specialist We are seeking a detail-oriented HR Clerk / I-9 Specialist to support a construction based HR team with a strong focus on employment eligibility verification. This role is ideal for someone highly experienced in processing Form I-9s, including non-standard or complex cases. Key Responsibilities: Accurately complete, audit, and maintain Form I-9s in compliance with federal regulations Handle complex I-9 scenarios (rehires, name changes, document corrections, remote verifications, etc.) Partner with internal teams to resolve I-9 discrepancies and follow up on missing or incorrect documentation Maintain organized and compliant employee records Support general HR clerical tasks as needed Requirements: Proven experience processing I-9s, including complex or less common situations Strong knowledge of I-9 compliance requirements and documentation rules High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Prior HR clerical or administrative experience preferred Temporary assignment expected to last 60–90 days Hourly pay range: $22–$24, based on experience
