Responsibilities:

• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to emergencies promptly.
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias, utilizing telemetry equipment.
• Administer medications such as Heparin, Vasoactive drugs, and PCA.
• Care for post-cardiac procedures including angiograms and MI management.
• Manage IV therapy, blood products, and pre/post hemodialysis care.
• Maintain strict infection control and wound care protocols.
• Assist with respiratory support including chest tubes and non-invasive ventilation.
• Adhere to all safety and procedural standards, including isolation precautions.
• Ensure accurate documentation in Epic, following charting protocols.
• Attend orientation on Mondays; complete unit orientation within three weeks of start.
