Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a float pool night shift position requiring a minimum of 2 years experience and prior travel experience.

Details

• Hospital-based Med/Surg unit as part of a float pool covering 5 Med/Surg units
• General adult patient population aged 18+
• Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 1:6
• Uses Cerner EMR
• 12-hour night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 36 hours per week
• No block schedule offered; must be flexible to meet unit staffing needs
• Weekend shifts required
• Floating required among Med/Surg units and to the ER as needed
• Unit determines the work schedule

Requirements

• Active TN or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years Med/Surg nursing experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Navy scrubs required

Additional Information

• No time off approved from 9/19 through 10/17 due to an Epic Go Live
• Local candidates accepted at a lower rate
• Radius rule of 75 miles determines eligibility for the travel rate
