MRI Technologist

Job Summary A successful candidate will provide high‑quality MRI procedures under radiologist direction at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in O'Fallon, IL. The role involves patient care, equipment operation, and image quality assurance. Position Specifics Department: MRI Core Function: Imaging Schedule: Full Time, Evening shift, 36‑40 hours/week. Open to 5‑8 hour shifts or 4‑9 hour shifts. Shift: 2:00 pm‑midnight; no weekends required. On‑call rotation: one night per week from 11:00 pm‑6:00 am. Facility: St. Elizabeth's Hospital Location: O'Fallon, IL Sign on Bonus: $15,000 Pay Range: $34.21 – $51.31 (adjusted per experience) Responsibilities Perform MRI procedures per physician orders. Accurately position patients and prepare MRI equipment. Operate equipment and monitor gel and contrast use. Ensure high‑quality images for interpretation. Maintain documentation and safety protocols. Qualifications Associate’s degree in allied health, radiologic science, or equivalent certificate. 1 year of Radiology Technology experience (preferred) or 2 years of Magnetic Resonance Imaging experience (required for MRI Tech II). Strong patient‑care orientation. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Certifications & Licenses Certified Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)) with MR credential, or Certified Registered Technologist in MRI (R.T.(MR)) by ARRT, or Certified Registered Technologist by ARMRIT.
