Associate Director, Quality Assurance

Associate Director leading quality systems transformation and continuous improvement initiatives within a pharmaceutical development organization. The role oversees deviation management, CAPA effectiveness, change control, and data governance across a global clinical supply chain network.

Responsibilities

Direct quality systems transformation initiatives in deviation management, CAPA, change control, and data governance
Standardize and improve global quality processes ensuring consistent application and inspection readiness
Establish data governance and integrity controls supporting regulatory compliance and right-first-time execution
Partner with site and functional teams to identify systemic gaps and implement sustainable solutions
Develop quality system metrics, monitoring performance, and maintaining GxP regulatory knowledge

Requirements

Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in science or engineering discipline
Minimum 8 years pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry experience (5 years with Ph.D.)
Demonstrated quality systems, quality assurance, compliance, or GxP-regulated role experience
Extensive knowledge of global GxP requirements and pharmaceutical quality system principles
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication abilities
Experience driving standardization and continuous improvement in complex quality environments

Compensation: $129,000–$203,100 base salary
