Data Entry OperatorLabcorp is seeking a Data Entry Operator to join our team in RTP, NC.Work Schedule: First Shift, Tuesday-Saturday 8:00am to 4:30pmJob ResponsibilitiesPerform data entry of patient's results in a timely and accurate mannerPrint out and distribute daily worksheets for technical staffUse various laboratory systems to enter test resultsEnsure test results are stored in their proper locationCall client with test results when necessaryOrder supplies for the department when neededOther administrative and clerical tasks as requiredMinimum QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalentPreferred Qualifications3 months or more of specimen processing experience3 months or more of medical or laboratory experienceAdditional Job StandardsStrong data entry and typing skills; Proficient with computersComfortability with handling biological specimensAbility to accurately identify specimensHigh level of attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and multitaskAbility to work in a fast paced production environment and meet established turn-around timesStrong communication skills; both written and verbalAbility to handle the physical requirements of the positionFlexibility to work overtime or other shifts depending on business needsAt Labcorp we have a passion for helping people live happy and healthy lives.
