Inventory Administrator

The Inventory Administrator serves to ensure effective supply chain management and customer satisfaction by maintaining accurate inventory records and processing inventory related transactions. Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Prepares documents for and processes the receiving all VSSI and external suppliers for all VSI branches. Maintains Purchase Order information for all VSSI and external suppliers. Ensures the smooth movement of materials in the company’s inventory management system (MCMS), including inventory and the preparation of part numbers, product codes, and freight codes. Assists branches with inventory tracking issues as needed. Distributes shipping related documents to the appropriate branches. Compiles information from shipping records and monitors materials in transit, communicating to branches as necessary. Compiles inventory records for scanning. Required Skills/Abilities: Data management skills: ability to use statistical analysis tools and interpret and communicate the results of the analysis. Good analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Strong understanding of supply chain processes and industry trends. A continuous improvement mindset: identifying and implementing ways to continuously improve reliability. Education and Experience: A high school diploma and two years’ experience in an inventory management-related position are required. Metals industry experience is desired. U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Residency is required due to ITAR and EAR regulations. #J-18808-Ljbffr
