You'll own key parts of the monthly close cycle, ensure accurate financial reporting, and help build the processes that support AppLovin's continued growth. This is a high-visibility role with direct exposure to the broader finance organization.What You'll DoOwn and execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities including journal entries, accruals, and reclassificationsPerform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accounts are properly supported on a timely basisSupport accounting and reporting activities across areas such leases, intangibles, corporate accounting, and other general accounting functions, depending on business needs.Prepare and review financial schedules for management reporting and external audit supportIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency of the closeCollaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, Tax, Legal, and business partners to ensure completeness of accountingSupport US external auditors during quarterly reviews and the annual auditAssist with technical accounting research and documentation as neededWhat We're Looking For3–5 years of accounting experience; fast-paced tech company background a plusAccounting or finance degree preferredStrong foundation in US GAAP and general ledger accountingProficiency in a major ERP system (NetSuite experience is a bonus)Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large data setsExperience managing US auditor and service provider relationships, including coordinating requests, deliverables, and deadlinesHigh attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentClear communicator who can explain accounting concepts to non-accounting stakeholdersSelf-starter mindset — you don't wait to be told what needs to be fixedNice to HaveExperience at a public company or in the technology/digital advertising industryExposure to SOX compliance and internal controlsExperience in system implementationsExperience in utilizing AI to streamline manual tasks AppLovin provides a competitive total compensation package with a pay for performance rewards approach.
