Responsibilities
- Perform ultrasound examinations across abdomen, OB/GYN, vascular, and related studies as indicated by clinical needs
- Position patients, select appropriate transducers, and optimize equipment settings to obtain diagnostic-quality images
- Document findings, generate preliminary reports, and communicate results to supervising radiologists or clinicians
- Maintain the sonography room and schedule, coordinate with team members to ensure efficient workflow, and report equipment issues
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and privacy during procedures; adhere to infection control and safety protocols
- Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement activities related to imaging procedures and equipment

Requirements
- Graduate of a formal Diagnostic Medical Sonography program or Cardiovascular Technology program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP)
- Active ARDMS certification in Abdomen, OB/GYN, and Vascular
- Breast certification preferred; Adult Echo Cardiography certification preferred
- Current compliance with Continuing Medical Education (CME) requirements for the specialty
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to work in a hospital setting and meet travel assignment requirements
