Role Description The Project Designer role is a full-time position for our Orlando, FL office. This role is responsible for developing and presenting furniture and workplace design solutions that align with client requirements, brand standards, and budget. Day-to-day tasks include creating and revising space plans, and detailed design documentation, as well as preparing accurate submittals and specifications for client review and approval. The Project Designer collaborates closely with sales, project management, installation teams, and manufacturers to coordinate project details, and support successful implementation. Additional responsibilities include attending client meetings, interpreting architectural plans, maintaining project files, and ensuring that design deliverables meet quality, schedule, and compliance expectations. Qualifications Ability to prepare and manage submittals and specification packages, ensuring accuracy and compliance with client and project requirements. Proficiency in reading, creating, and updating construction drawings and related technical documentation for furniture and interior layouts. Strong space planning skills with experience translating client needs into efficient, functional, and aesthetically cohesive workplace environments. Background or education in architecture, interior design, or a related field, with familiarity in integrating furniture solutions into architectural plans. Project management capabilities, including organizing tasks, coordinating with cross-functional teams, tracking milestones, and supporting on-time delivery. Competence with relevant design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, CET, or similar) and standard productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office). Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present design concepts and collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders. High attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
