Medical Assistant Certified

Job Description

We are seeking a Medical Assistant Certified to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner
Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff
Escort patients to exam rooms
Enter patients vitals and reason for visit into EMR
Work with multiple providers including ENT and Allergy
Administer allergy injections
Order testing such as MRI, CT, barium swallow, etc.
Answering a multi-line phone and schedule patients
Communicate with insurance companies for prior authorizations
Must travel between our Duluth and Snellville locations

Qualifications:

Previous experience in healthcare administration or other related fields
Strong customer service skills and friendly demeanor
Familiarity with medical billing procedures
Strong organizational skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
