Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Telemetry

Location: Winchester, VA

We are seeking dedicated Registered Nurses to join the Medical Telemetry team at a leading regional hospital in Winchester, Virginia. This is an excellent opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced and collaborative environment within a Level II Trauma Center.

Position Details:

Specialty: Medical Telemetry
Schedule: Full-time, Night Shift (12 hours)
Openings: Multiple positions available
Reporting To: Clinical Manager of Medical Telemetry

Unit Information:

30-bed Medical Telemetry Unit
Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:6
Patient population: Adults (18+)
Common diagnoses: Acute Coronary Syndrome, post-AMI care, Percutaneous Coronary Interventions, CHF, Peripheral Vascular Disease, Arrhythmias, Syncope, and CAD

Responsibilities:

Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care to patients in the Medical Telemetry Unit
Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care plans
Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in patient conditions
Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and ongoing care needs
Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards

Qualifications:

Associate's Degree in Nursing (RN Diploma, ASN, or ADN) required; BSN preferred
Active RN licensure (or eligibility) in Virginia required
Strong clinical skills with the ability to manage complex patient cases in a telemetry setting
Excellent communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills
