Inventory & Receiving Specialist

Job Details Job Location: Phenix HQ - Olathe, KS 66062 Position Type: Full Time Job Shift: 1st Shift (7a-3p) Job Category: Warehouse Inventory & Receiving Specialist Department: Warehouse Reports To: Warehouse Supervisor FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt What You’ll Do Receiving & Inventory Support Receive and inspect incoming shipments and finished goods Verify counts and product information against packing slips, bills of lading, and purchase orders Enter inventory transactions accurately into the company’s inventory management system Identify and communicate shortages, damages, or shipment discrepancies Conduct cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy Notify departments when materials or products are received Warehouse Operations Organize and properly label incoming materials Move materials to designated warehouse or production locations Restock unused materials returned from production Pre-stage materials for upcoming production jobs Maintain clean, safe, and organized warehouse areas Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment safely Continuous Improvement & Quality Support company quality standards and internal audit initiatives Participate in 5S and continuous improvement activities Recommend ideas that improve organization, efficiency, accuracy, or workflow What We’re Looking For Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently Comfortable working in a manufacturing and warehouse environment Strong communication and teamwork skills Previous warehouse, receiving, shipping, inventory, or manufacturing experience preferred Forklift experience preferred (or willingness to become certified) Why Phenix Label?
