Job Overview Geisinger is seeking a BC/BE Ophthalmologist - Retina Specialist to join a well‑established practice with more than 20 multi‑specialty ophthalmologists and optometrists. The associate will acquire an existing robust practice in their specialty. Opportunities for both new graduates and experienced physicians. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive retinal care, including diagnosis and treatment of retinal diseases. Perform retinal surgeries and procedures. Mentor and teach within the growing residency program. Participate in teaching, research, and optimization of patient access. Assist with electronic health record (Epic) documentation. Maintain caseload and adhere to quality and productivity measures. Qualifications MD or DO degree. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Ophthalmology/Retina. Eligibility for Pennsylvania medical licensure. Medical school loan repayment program eligibility.
