MOVA Metals is looking for an experienced with a strong mechanical, planning, and project background in a chemical plant or industrial manufacturing environment.
This is not an entry-level planning role. We are looking for someone with approximately – , , , who understands what it takes to properly plan, prepare, coordinate, and close out maintenance work in an operating plant.
The right candidate should be comfortable working with maintenance, operations, supervisors, procurement, contractors, and plant leadership to make sure work is properly scoped, prioritized, planned, and ready for safe execution.

• Planning and scheduling mechanical maintenance work in an industrial plant setting
• Reviewing work orders for scope, priority, job steps, safety needs, materials, labor, tools, equipment, and contractor support
• Developing detailed job plans and work packages for preventive, corrective, and project-related maintenance work
• Supporting outage, shutdown, turnaround, and project planning activities
• Coordinating with operations, maintenance, supervision, procurement, contractors, and management
• Estimating labor hours, parts, materials, equipment, and support resources needed for work execution
• Tracking job readiness, schedule status, backlog, work order closeout, and maintenance history
• Supporting preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, reliability efforts, and continuous improvement
• Reviewing drawings, P&IDs, equipment information, manuals, and field conditions to support planning accuracy
• Assisting with JSAs, safety planning, environmental considerations, and safe work execution requirements

• 10–15 years of mechanical, maintenance planning, project, turnaround, or field execution experience preferred
• Chemical plant, petrochemical, refinery, catalyst, metals, or heavy industrial experience strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of plant maintenance work, mechanical systems, equipment, piping, valves, pumps, exchangers, and related systems
• Experience building job plans, work packages, schedules, labor estimates, material lists, and execution plans
• Experience with ERP, CMMS, or maintenance management systems required
• SAP, Maximo, Ross ERP, or similar system experience preferred
• Microsoft Project experience preferred
• CAD, drawing review, or field sketching experience is a plus
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work directly with maintenance, operations, contractors, and leadership
• High School Diploma or GED required; degree or technical training preferred

This position supports work in an active industrial plant environment. The role may include time in the field, outdoors, and in areas where employees may be exposed to dust, noise, odors, chemicals, fumes, confined spaces, and other industrial conditions.
Candidates must be able to work safely in a plant environment, wear required PPE, and meet applicable physical, drug, alcohol, and respirator fit testing requirements.
