Chemical Packaging Specialist, Inventory & Label Compliance

Location: Princeton, NJ

Purpose of the role

Help us deliver safe, high-quality liquid chemical products with impeccable traceability. You’ll combine careful hands-on packaging with disciplined digital recordkeeping to ensure every container is filled, closed, labeled, and accounted for to the highest standards.

Impact you’ll make

• Safety and quality first: Follow SOPs, wear required PPE, and maintain a clean, organized area.
• Precision filling: Weigh and fill per instructions/recipes, using the correct, tested scales and a weight-assisted computer for accuracy.
• Digital discipline: Use the Weight Assisted Computer, our Manufacturing Execution System, and SAP to maintain real-time accuracy.
• Inventory integrity: In SAP, inventory containers, enter total actual packed, confirm pack-out and scrap, and ensure delivery quantity matches confirmed quantity.
• Labeling excellence: Print/reprint as needed; select label sizes that fit container types; place labels correctly; dispose of extra or ruined labels.
• Secure closure: Properly close and crimp containers and apply tamper-evidence seals.

What you’ll need

• High school diploma or equivalent, or relevant manufacturing experience.
• 1 year of chemical manufacturing experience preferred.
• Familiarity with GMP and HACCP practices.
• Able to tolerate strong odors/allergens and stand for an 8-hour shift.
• Frequently lift a 35 lb product hose; regularly move, lift, pull, and push up to 50 lbs.
• Comfort with SOPs, chemical packaging, and forklift operation (license preferred).

Rewards

Hourly rate targeted at $25.00. Final compensation reflects job-related experience, skills, education/training, and primary work location.
