Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Modification Electrician F&H B to join our team in Everett, WA. Position Responsibilities: Follow the guidance and direction from lead and senior SME’s. Remove, replace, adjust, and/or install equipment racks, power panels, and various aircraft components/assemblies and closures. Perform bond and ground testing to ensure electrical ground between aircraft systems. Perform wire routing and wire terminations. Perform soldering. Perform pre and post testing of electrical systems. Locate work area using drawings, Installation Plan, or other paperwork that specifies airplane number, section number, and three-point location. Obtain and verify detail parts, standards, and assemblies were issued correctly and are free of visible defects. Perform lock out tag out, try out equipment for safety. Demonstrate a safe work ethic. Work with military customers to ensure compliance with BDS policies and procedures. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location. Security Clearance & Export Control Requirements: This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (An Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.) Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Minimum of 18 years of age. Minimum one year of experience in performing complete operational testing of electrical systems. Minimum one year of experience in electronics or electrical troubleshooting. Must have the ability to read and interpret system prints and schematics. Relocation: This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility. Shift: This position is for 2nd shift. Bonus amount: $1500 Additional Information: This is an hourly position governed by the International Association of Machinist (IAM-751) Collective Bargaining agreement.
