RN Acute Care - Neuro - PRN Night Shift

Role Overview: The RN Clinical Nurse specializes in acute neuro care, providing high-quality, patient-centered, and safe clinical care within a multidisciplinary team. They ensure individualized care by performing the nursing process, utilizing evidence-based standards, and maintaining compliance with state and professional ethical guidelines. Key Responsibilities: Perform assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Partner with patients and families through effective communication, education, and shared decision-making. Coordinate interdisciplinary teamwork, documentation, and promote an inclusive, respectful clinical environment. Participate in performance improvement, research activities, and support evidence-based practice initiatives. Support resource management, protocol development, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Mentor and serve as a preceptor for other nurses and staff, fostering professional growth. Qualifications & Skills: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing; licensure as an RN (single state or multi-state Compact). Current BLS certification; additional certifications as required. Experience in direct patient care preferred. Strong communication, critical thinking, time management, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in clinical technology and documentation.
