Job Title: Scaffold Carpenter
Job Description
PRT Staffing is seeking experienced Carpenters with scaffolding experience for ongoing construction projects. This role supports industrial and commercial job sites by building, modifying, and dismantling scaffolding systems while maintaining strict safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Build, erect, modify, and dismantle scaffolding structures
- Read and follow basic blueprints, layouts, and work instructions
- Measure, cut, and assemble materials accurately
- Ensure scaffolding is level, secure, and compliant with safety requirements
- Work safely at heights and in various weather conditions
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Follow all sitespecific safety rules and OSHA regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements
- Previous carpentry and scaffolding experience required
- Comfortable working at heights
- Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical work
- Knowledge of construction safety practices
- Reliable transportation and attendance
- Ability to pass required site screenings (if applicable)
