About the Position

Location: Denver, Colorado

Schedule: Night Shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Highlights:

• 23-bed Postpartum / Mother-Baby unit within a well-established acute care facility
• Patient ratios of 3:1 or 4:1 (estimated)
• Collaborate with a team of approximately 80 nursing staff members across mom/baby services
• EMR system: Meditech / CPN
• Night shift includes 1 charge nurse, 9-10 RNs on the floor, and 2-3 RNs in the nursery
• Provide comprehensive postpartum care including vital sign monitoring, medication administration, perineal care, and newborn education

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital experience in Postpartum or Mother-Baby units
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Active RN license in good standing
• Preferred: Experience in a Mother-Baby Unit and flexibility with scheduling
• Preferred: Ability to adapt quickly to new situations and environments
