Summary The Selling and Service Assistant provides front- and back‑of‑house clerical and transactional support to ensure a seamless client experience in the boutique. This role manages POS transactions, maintains CRM and after‑sales records, and assists the sales team with merchandising and stockroom operations. The SSA supports daily store opening and closing procedures and helps uphold luxury service standards on the selling floor. Responsibilities Process and accurately record point‑of‑sale transactions and assist with opening and closing procedures. Provide prompt, friendly client service including greeting, answering questions, packaging, and wrapping at point of sale. Support sales team with merchandising tasks, returning merchandise to the floor, and retrieving stock. Maintain selling floor organization and stock levels of packaging, POS supplies, and merchandising materials. Assist with stockroom operations including replenishment, tagging, ticketing, and inventory preparation. Log and manage after‑sales services such as repairs and client follow‑up; maintain detailed CRM files. Answer phones and perform general administrative duties as assigned by management. Requirements Minimum 1 year retail experience; luxury retail experience preferred. Experience with POS systems and cash handling strongly preferred. Customer service oriented with strong communication and organizational skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to maintain detailed CRM records. Ability to multitask, work in a fast‑paced environment, and handle difficult situations with composure.
