Operations Supervisor

Supervise hourly staff, including scheduling, PTO approval, hiring, training, performance management, and corrective actions Evaluate assigned team performance and create and document team metrics Interface with the Operations Management Team regarding production needs, challenges, and performance Ensure operations are performed safely, promote safe work practices, and conduct safety audits Drive containment and investigation of non-conformances through the quality system using system tools and data analysis Set priorities to meet production commitments with input from the planning department Oversee processor training and adherence to standard operating procedures Ensure processors have the tools and equipment needed to complete their jobs Assist with resourcing and completing new product launches on time Support front-line quality checks and ensure processes meet requirements Ensure daily cleaning, environmental sampling, and other required processes are completed Provide regular feedback to operators to improve performance Collaborate with processors and engineers to improve department output and cycle time Support other shifts, departments, and on-call coverage Perform other duties as assigned Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent 2+ years of experience in functional area 0–2 years of leadership experience AATB CTBS preferred Excellent verbal and written communication Problem solving methodologies Microsoft Office Suite Quality Management System (QMS) software Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software Ability to move or lift objects up to 25 pounds Frequent (>75%) stationary position (standing or sitting) while utilizing digital displays Frequent (>75%) fine manipulation using hands and fingers Onsite availability in Alachua, Florida Third shift availability, Sunday night through Friday morning, 10:00 PM–6:30 AM Core Competencies Demonstrates strong leadership and supervisory skills in managing hourly staff, ensuring adherence to safety practices, and driving quality improvements.
