Journeyman Electrician

Labor Finders has multiple openings for Journeyman Electricians for long-term work on multiple sites in and around Jacksonville. We are seeking experienced electricians with the ability to independently perform skilled electrical work, including installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems; reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams; installing and terminating wiring, outlets, switches, panels, lighting, and other electrical components; troubleshooting electrical systems; ensuring work is completed safely and in accordance with applicable codes; using hand and power tools safely; and performing other electrical-related tasks as assigned.

Your Day
Start times vary between 5am and 7am; shifts are typically 8 hours, with some lasting up to 10 hours. Jobs are primarily on construction sites and require full PPE. Jobsites may vary by location from day to day but will be in and around Jacksonville. Some work may be indoors, but candidates should be prepared to work in all weather conditions and elements, including extreme Florida heat. Reliable transportation to and from jobsites is required, as well as strong communication with the office regarding assignments and scheduling. Work is short-term to start, with ongoing opportunities available for associates who demonstrate consistent attendance, strong performance, and reliability. Pay is based on experience, job requirements, attendance, and performance.

Your Experience
Journeyman-level electrical experience is required, with the ability to work independently and confidently perform skilled electrical tasks. Candidates should have strong knowledge of electrical systems, tools, safety practices, and applicable electrical codes.
