Musculoskeletal Imaging Faculty Member and Program Director of the MSK Fellowship

The Department of Diagnostic Radiology and Nuclear Medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine is recruiting a dedicated and forward‑thinking faculty member and program director to shape the next generation of musculoskeletal radiologists while practicing in a collegial, intellectually rich environment.

About the Role

With strong backing from the Chair of Radiology and MSK Division leadership, the incoming Program Director will have the opportunity to:

• Lead and continually enhance the MSK fellowship that prepares graduates for diverse academic and private practice careers.
• Oversee fellow recruitment, curriculum design, didactic education, and case‑based learning across MR, CT, ultrasound, radiography, and image‑guided MSK procedures.
• Mentor fellows in research, scholarship, quality improvement, and professional development.
• Partner with Orthopaedics, Rheumatology, Sports Medicine, and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation to advance integrated musculoskeletal care.
• Contribute to a robust MSK practice while cultivating a culture of teamwork, transparency, and shared purpose within the division.

What We’re Looking For

• Fellowship training in Musculoskeletal Radiology with strong clinical expertise across MSK imaging.
• Board certification in Diagnostic Radiology and eligibility for medical licensure in Maryland.
