WorldLink Truck Driving Academy is seeking motivated, experienced CDL drivers to add to our team of high performing Class A CDL Truck Driving Instructors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and deliver classroom, equipment, range, and road instruction
- Monitor student progress and provide additional assistance as necessary
- Prepare reports and records accurately and completely as required by laws, policies, and school regulations
- Manage student behavior in the classroom and on the range by enforcing rules and procedures
- Keep current with laws and developments related to commercial truck driving
- Use relevant technology to support instruction
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- MUST have a valid CDL Class A license with a MINIMUM of 3 years verifiable tractor trailer driving experience; Driver Training Instructor License is not required but preferred
- Must possess a clean driving record: no more than 2 driving offenses or accidents in the past 2 years and no DUI in the past 10 years
- Must be physically able to operate motor vehicle
- Be patient and a good leader to students
- Have strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must be at least 25 years of age
- Must possess at least a HS diploma or GED
- Must have basic computer capabilities
- Must bring a strong work ethic coupled with tenacity, self-motivation, and problem solving
- Any education experience is a big plus Type: Full-time
