Registered Nurse (RN) - CVOR

Registered Nurse – Cardiovascular Operating Room

Schedule: 10-hour day shifts, 4 days per week; 0630-1700 hours.

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Requirements:

• Current RN License in the state
• BLS Certification
• 2 years of experience in CVOR within a level 1 trauma center
• Strong scrub and circulating experience in cardiac surgeries

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in the cardiovascular operating room.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe and effective surgical procedures.
• Monitor patient condition before, during, and after surgery.
• Assist in preparing and maintaining a sterile environment.
• Document care and maintain accurate patient records.
• Adhere to facility policies and protocols regarding patient safety and care.

Compliance / Notes:

• Nicotine-free facility.
• Orientation occurs on Monday and Tuesday for new employees.
• Must be available for weekends and on-call as needed.
• Bi-weekly pay schedule.
