Role Description This full-time, on-site Physical Therapist role is based in St Marys, KS. The Physical Therapist will assess patients’ physical function, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life. Daily responsibilities include performing evaluations, documenting clinical findings, monitoring progress, and adjusting treatment plans as needed. The role involves close collaboration with physicians, nurses, rehabilitation staff, and other care team members to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care. The Physical Therapist will also educate patients and families on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and strategies for long-term functional independence. Qualifications Demonstrated expertise in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, with the ability to design and implement individualized treatment plans. Strong Patient Care and Home Care skills, including educating patients and caregivers and supporting safe, effective recovery in the home environment. Foundational knowledge of Medicine relevant to musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiopulmonary conditions treated in physical therapy. Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Kansas. Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited program. Effective communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in an integrated care team. Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care in a rural health setting; prior experience in rural or community health is beneficial.
