Step into the role

At our Elmhurst, IL 60126 facility, your day begins on the production floor. Work orders in hand, you fine-tune equipment settings, run test pieces, and dial in calibrations so every line starts strong. Mid-shift, you pivot to preventive care—lubrication, adjustments, and part replacements that keep downtime at bay. When a machine misbehaves, you diagnose the root cause quickly, repair what’s needed, and get operations humming again. Throughout the day, you coordinate closely with production teams to optimize cycle times and support safe, consistent output. You’ll also coach newer teammates on proper machine operation and upkeep, and you’ll wrap your shift by documenting performance data and maintenance activity.

What you’ll handle

• Prepare and calibrate machinery to match production specifications and quality targets.
• Execute routine maintenance and make mechanical repairs that reduce disruptions.
• Quickly troubleshoot issues to restore equipment performance.
• Record machine metrics and maintenance work with accuracy.
• Partner with production to improve throughput and efficiency.
• Uphold safety regulations and company standards at all times.
• Assist in onboarding and training team members on operation and care.

What you bring

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical schooling or related certification is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with machine setup and maintenance in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong mechanical insight and a practical, solutions-first mindset.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals, prints, and schematics.
• Working knowledge of safety procedures and best practices on the floor.
• Clear communication and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
• Flexibility to work variable hours and overtime when needed.
