Job Title: Superintendent Location: Connecticut-based with travel across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic (Maine to Virginia) Salary: Up to $120,000 per yearAbout the Role We are seeking an experienced and driven Traveling Superintendent to oversee construction projects across multiple states, ensuring seamless execution from groundbreaking to completion. This position requires extensive travel, managing site operations, coordinating teams, and upholding the highest standards of quality and safety.Key Responsibilities:On-Site Leadership: Oversee daily construction activities, ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget. Quality Control: Enforce high standards for craftsmanship and compliance with industry regulations. Safety Management: Implement and monitor safety procedures, conducting regular audits and enforcing OSHA standards. Team Coordination: Lead subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel to ensure project success. Schedule & Logistics: Develop work schedules, track progress, and manage logistics to optimize efficiency. Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve project challenges, ensuring smooth operations. Client & Stakeholder Interaction: Represent the company professionally, fostering strong relationships with clients and vendors.Qualifications Proven experience as a Superintendent in commercial or industrial construction. Willingness to travel extensively (Maine to Virginia) as projects demand. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. In-depth knowledge of construction methods, safety regulations, and project scheduling. Proficiency in project management software and site documentation.
