Investments Valuations Specialist

Our client is a leading global hedge fund managing over $70bn in AUM, with a sophisticated multi-strategy investment platform and an exceptional reputation for attracting top-tier talent. They are looking to hire an Investment Valuations Associate to join a highly technical team responsible for valuing complex investments across the platform. This is a broad, investment-facing role that combines valuation, financial modelling, market analysis, and technology, with significant exposure to portfolio managers and senior stakeholders across the firm. You’ll work across a range of liquid and derivative products, analyzing valuations and understanding the market inputs and models driving them. The role also offers the opportunity to work closely with investment, risk, and technology teams on new products, complex pricing questions, and initiatives to improve and automate the firm’s valuation infrastructure. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys the quantitative side of markets but also wants to be close to investment activity and understand how positions are priced, valued, and ultimately reflected in P&L. Who this suits 3–6+ years of valuation, product control, quantitative finance, or related experience within a hedge fund, investment bank, or asset manager Strong experience with fixed income and/or derivative products, particularly across rates, credit, or FX Good understanding of valuation methodologies, financial models, and the market data underlying them Strong quantitative and analytical skills; Python or other programming experience is highly desirable Someone who enjoys solving complex problems and partnering directly with investment and risk professionals The firm offers market-leading compensation, exceptional exposure to the investment business, and significant long-term career progression.
