Paralegal Temp Contract - HYBRID

Role Overview Paralegal works closely with the General Counsel and business stakeholders to support day-to-day legal processes, compliance initiatives, and cost control. This is a 6‑month full‑time contract, hybrid in San Diego, CA. Key Responsibilities Maintain contracts inbox, triage requests, and control the legal department workflow. Draft and review NDAs, reseller agreements, referral agreements, and customer agreements; prepare initial redlines before attorney review. Proof‑read final drafts and manage signature processes via DocuSign or physical signatures; circulate executed copies. Maintain contract repositories in Salesforce and the Legal drive. Support the RFP team with customer questionnaires and response documents. Obtain approvals per procurement policies and review vendor agreements. Assist with collections, drafting notices of breach, and litigation as needed. Support pre‑litigation matters for the General Counsel. Assist with patent portfolio management and coordination with outside IP counsel. Assist with export control, sanctions compliance, and KYC processes. Prepare annual filings for U.S. corporate entities and support governance for international entities. Maintain legal department templates; schedule meetings, mailings, filing, and IT coordination. Required Skills and Experience Bachelor’s Degree and/or Paralegal Certificate. 5+ years of corporate paralegal/legal assistant experience. Knowledge of standard contract language. Highly effective written and verbal communication skills. Strong time‑management, negotiation, and organization skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work well under pressure. Self‑starter, resourceful, and collaborative team player. Discretion on confidential matters. Proficient with Microsoft Word (redlines), Teams, Adobe Acrobat, DocuSign; willingness to learn other software. Current CA Notary Public Commission preferred. Benefits & Compensation No benefits.
