CANDIDATE LEGITIMACY VERIFICATION (Our standard verification process)

1. Identity - live video call with camera on; confirm LinkedIn is verified. Red flags: refusal to turn on camera, photo doesn't match, brand-new profile / very few connections.
2. Employment proof - short email from their corporate domain if currently employed, or a pay stub / offer letter / work badge (sensitive details hidden). Red flags: unexplained refusal or delay.
3. Background cross-check - search name + company on Google, LinkedIn, and SignalHire; compare titles and dates across sources. Red flags: inconsistencies, or no online presence despite claimed experience.
4. Resume consistency - resume dates/titles/companies match LinkedIn; confirm their direct report/manager at the most recent job. Red flags: mismatches, or inability to name the manager.
