We're seeking an Inventory Specialist to work at a leading organization in East Durham, NY. With us, it's all about finding the job that's just right.

Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $24.00/hour

Shift: 24hr Sat-Sunday- 7am-7:30pm Mon-Tuesday- 3pm-11:30pm

What's a typical day as Inventory Specialist? You'll be:

• Serving as on-site support in the storeroom/logistics area, handling receiving, stocking, issuing, inventory accuracy, and cycle counting
• Providing outstanding customer service as a regular point of contact for client inventory needs
• Using computer systems to track, verify, and maintain inventory records
• Locating stock, delivering items, and processing requests both in person and through Kanban systems
• Ensuring compliance with internal procedures and safety standards
• Unpacking, verifying, and entering materials into inventory systems
• Pulling, staging, and kitting materials as required
• Handling returns, preparing shipments, and supporting other logistics functions
• Performing cycle counts, maintaining inventory accuracy, and reporting discrepancies
• Keeping the storeroom organized and clean
• Supporting special projects and corporate initiatives as assigned

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have a high school diploma (required)
• Possess 0-2 years of warehouse or storeroom operations experience (entry-level candidates welcome)
• Demonstrate basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and are willing to learn new software
• Are able to learn part identification and inventory systems quickly
• Pride yourself on excellent customer service, organization, and attention to detail
• Can follow established procedures and maintain accuracy
• Have basic math skills and the ability to obtain and maintain a forklift license (may require valid driver's license)
• Are physically able to walk, stand, carry, and lift up to 40 lbs. unassisted, and operate material handling equipment as needed
• Are flexible with shifts and able to work overtime as required
