This is a remote position, allowing you the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home while engaging with clients through teletherapy modalities. In addition, our outpatient office in Puyallup provides a welcoming space for face-to-face sessions when necessary. You will have access to modern technology and collaboration tools, including telehealth platforms that streamline your ability to connect with clients, maintain organized case notes, and collaborate effectively within our multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Thrive Counseling, your role will encompass an array of responsibilities that directly impact client success:

  • Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to evaluate the mental health needs of individuals and families.

  • Design, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.

  • Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques to deliver effective family therapy, couples counseling, and individual sessions.

  • Participate actively in team meetings, contributing insights for collaborative treatment planning and case management.

  • Stay informed about current trends and best practices in mental health to enhance therapeutic interventions and outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on a diverse clientele that includes children, adolescents, adults, and families. Our clients come from various backgrounds and may present a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and family dynamics. You will play a critical role in providing emotional support and guiding clients through difficult times by creating safe and trusting therapeutic relationships.

Qualifications\n

To succeed in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

  • Current and unrestricted Clinical Licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Washington.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of experience working as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist is required, candidates who have experience in teletherapy, trauma-informed care, or working with diverse populations will be favored.
