What You'll DoAs our Maintenance Engineer, you'll support machining operations by improving equipment reliability, increasing production efficiency, and solving technical problems.
Your responsibilities include:
Equipment & Maintenance- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment issues
- Support installation, startup, repair, and maintenance of production equipment
- Investigate equipment failures and recommend permanent corrective actions
- Help establish preventive maintenance procedures
- Improve machine reliability and reduce downtime
- Analyze production processes to improve throughput and reduce scrap
- Develop process improvements and process controls
- Recommend equipment and system modifications
- Support new equipment installations and production launches
- Evaluate manufacturing methods and recommend improvements
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings
- Support engineering projects using CAD software when needed
- Collaborate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams
- Assist with cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives
- Provide technical guidance during equipment troubleshooting
- Use structured problem-solving methods including:
- 5 Why
- 5W2H
- Root Cause Analysis
- Corrective Action
- Improve production quality
- Reduce scrap
- Support company safety initiatives
- Help achieve departmental business goals
- Experience maintaining manufacturing equipment
- Welding and fabrication experience
- Experience troubleshooting industrial machinery
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
- CNC machine maintenance experience
- Industrial electrical troubleshooting experience
- Robotics experience
- M-Code/G-Code familiarity
- CAD experience
- Continuous Improvement or Lean Manufacturing experience
