At Albertsons Companies, we are looking for a results-driven leader who wants to
make an impact. In this role, you’ll lead store teams, drive sales performance,
and create an outstanding customer experience. This is a high-visibility
leadership position in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where your
contributions directly impact store success.
Main responsibilities:
* Support the Store Director in leading all day-to-day store operations,
including staffing, merchandising, inventory, and customer service
* Supervise, coach, and develop department managers and store associates to
achieve performance goals
* Drive sales and profitability by executing merchandising strategies and
achieving key business metrics (sales, labor, shrink, and inventory)
* Deliver an exceptional customer experience by modeling strong service
standards and building customer loyalty
* Ensure store readiness through effective product presentation, pricing,
stocking, and organization
* Act as the leader on duty and take full responsibility for store operations
in the absence of the Store Director
* Maintain compliance with company policies, food safety standards, and
workplace safety practices
* Manage scheduling, staffing levels, and performance, including coaching and
corrective action when needed
* Use proven retail selling techniques to increase sales and enhance the
customer experience

- Ability to lead and supervise teams of 10–250 associates
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and operational decision-making skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and peak
business periods
* Educational requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required;
additional education or certifications preferred
* Travel requirements: Limited travel; flexibility to support multiple store
locations as needed
* Other requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Previous experience as a Department Manager or equivalent retail leadership
role preferred
* Ability to work approximately 45 hours per week, including peak business
times
