Join a collaborative team that is shaping the future of information technology through breakthrough memory solutions.As a DRAM Device & Cell Technology Engineer, you will play a key role in defining and optimizing next-generation DRAM architectures and technologies. You will contribute to device and cell development, lead experimental investigations, and partner with cross-functional teams to improve performance, reliability, and scalability. This is an opportunity to work on leading-edge memory technology and influence future product roadmaps.Responsibilities:Develop DRAM cell and access device technologies to improve density, retention, and disturb immunityDesign and execute silicon experiments; perform electrical characterization, data analysis, and interpretationAnalyze array-level behavior and collaborate with circuit teams to optimize operating conditions and sequencesPartner with cross-functional teams to ensure developed solutions are scalable and manufacturableContribute to technology roadmaps through benchmarking, technical evaluation, and strategic recommendationsMinimum Qualifications:M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Applied Physics, or a related fieldUnderstanding of semiconductor device physics, including MOSFETs, access devices, and capacitorsExperience with electrical measurement, device characterization, and data analysisKnowledge of DRAM fundamentals, including activation, sensing, retention, and disturb mechanismsProficiency with data analysis and scripting tools such as Python, MATLAB, or JMPPreferred Qualifications:Experience with DRAM or NAND device developmentExperience using TCAD simulation tools such as Synopsys Sentaurus or SilvacoExperience in semiconductor device fabrication or advanced BEOL integrationKnowledge of device reliability mechanisms and variation analysis, including AI-enabled data analysis techniquesStrong communication skills with the ability to present technical results and drive cross-functional alignmentAs a world leader in the semiconductor industry, Micron is dedicated to your personal wellbeing and professional growth.
