PST - Bilingual Phlebotomist

Labcorp is seeking a Bilingual Phlebotomist to join our team at Access Community Martin Russo-Access Martin Russo: 245 S. Gary Ave. Bloomingdale, IL. 60108.

Work Schedule : Monday – Friday 9:00am – 6:00pm, Every other Saturday 8:00am -12:00pm

Job Responsibilities:

· Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups

· Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.

· Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner

· Process billing information and collect payments when required

· Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis

· Maintain patient and specimen information logs

· Provide superior customer service to all patients

· Administrative and clerical duties as necessary

· Travel to additional sites when needed

Minimum Qualifications:

· High school diploma or GED or equivalent

· Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist

Preferred Qualifications:

·1 year or more of phlebotomy experience (In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency)

·1 year or more pediatrics experience

·​ COVID Vaccine Required

· Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service

· Strong communication skills; both written and verbal

· Ability to work independently or in a team environment

· Comfortable working under minimal supervision

· Reliable transportation

· Flexibility to work overtime as needed

· Able to pass a standardized color blindness test

Pay Range: $18.00 - $24.50 per hour

Phlebotomist’s may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
