What you’ll do Be a Team Member: Collaborate with other associates to build a strong meat team; communicate with team members; be flexible to work in other areas as needed. Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of floor operations, product safety standards, sanitation guidelines, inventory management, and the operation, maintenance, and sanitization of equipment; prepare meat products according to standards; cut boneless meat; maintain product quality. Be a Techie: Use digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience; use handheld technology to support decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them. Be an Owner: Maintain work area per company policies; ensure quality and date control for meat products; secure fragile and high-shrink items; eliminate waste; assist members with purchasing decisions; ensure packaging, labeling, and storage follow policies. Be a Talent Ambassador: Model high-quality service and products; exhibit energy, commitment, and passion for the work. Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity; apply related action plans and open-door policy in daily work. Completes work assignments by using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co-workers, customers, and partners; identify priorities and deadlines; communicate progress and information; adapt to change and feedback. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable.
